Telewise Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all repair services and product purchases provided by Telewise (located in Baulkham Hills, NSW). By booking a repair or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.
1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Guarantee
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us, and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

For major failures with goods, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2. User Data and Information (Repair Notice)

Data Loss Warning: As required by the ACL, please be aware that the repair of your goods may result in the loss of any user-generated data. Please ensure that you have made a copy of any data saved on your goods.

Backups: It is your absolute responsibility to back up all data, software, and information on your device prior to handing it over to Telewise for repair. Telewise accepts no liability for any loss, corruption, or alteration of data or software during the repair process.

Privacy: We will only access your device to the extent necessary to perform the agreed-upon diagnostics and repairs.
3. Repair Services and 6-Month Limited Warranty

Limited Warranty: Telewise provides a 6-month limited warranty on parts and labor for all repairs completed by our technicians, starting from the date of collection.

Warranty Coverage: This warranty covers defects in the parts installed by Telewise and the workmanship of the specific repair undertaken.

Warranty Exclusions: This 6-month warranty does strictly not cover:

Subsequent physical damage (e.g., dropping the device again and cracking the new screen).

Liquid damage, regardless of whether the device was advertised as water-resistant.

Issues unrelated to the original repair.

Devices that have been opened, tampered with, or repaired by a third party after our service.

Pre-existing conditions that were not part of the requested repair.

Diagnostics: If we diagnose a device and you choose not to proceed with the repair, a standard diagnostic fee may apply.
4. Product and Accessory Sales

Returns for Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind about a product purchase, found it cheaper elsewhere, or decided you did not like it.

Faulty Products: If an accessory or product purchased from Telewise is faulty, significantly different from the description, or does not do what it is supposed to do, you may return it within a reasonable timeframe with proof of purchase for a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the ACL.
5. Uncollected Goods

Collection: We will notify you when your device is ready for collection.

Abandoned Devices: If a device is left at Telewise for more than 60 days after you have been notified that it is ready for collection (and no alternative arrangements have been made), it will be considered abandoned. Telewise reserves the right to recycle, sell, or dispose of the device to recover repair and storage costs, in compliance with the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW).
6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telewise's liability for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising out of the services or products provided is limited to the cost of the repair service or the purchase price of the product.
